Get to know our company

We provide civil engineering and land surveying services to a varied client base throughout Maine.

Terradyn Consultants is a modern civil engineering and land surveying firm comprised of a diverse team of civil engineers, surveyors, designers, environmental scientists, and support staff. Founded in 2005 in New Gloucester, Maine, we now serve clients from offices in New Gloucester, Portland, and Auburn. Our years of technical experience combined with our understanding and use of the latest technologies allow us to provide our clients with highly efficient & cost-effective service.

Our clients include private developers, municipalities, land owners, and other consultants. We’re as comfortable leading a project as we are working as a member of a multi-disciplinary project team. We frequently work with teams of architects, soil scientists, landscape architects, and other consultants to provide our clients with the full range of services they need to successfully complete their project.

Jeff founded Terradyn Consultants in 2005, and serves as President of the company as well as a project manager on many of the firm’s projects. Jeff has a diverse background in civil/site design and has been involved in the management, design and permitting of numerous projects throughout his career.

Jeff’s expertise includes subdivision planning & permitting, site planning & permitting, re-zoning applications, roadway and utility design, roadway and utility extensions, stormwater & erosion control design, construction cost estimates, earthwork volume calculations, construction observation, post construction inspections and MDEP, MDOT, NRPA & local permitting.

Mike is a Partner and Vice President at Terradyn Consultants and leads the Portland office. Throughout his career as a civil engineer he has helped clients build a variety of commercial, residential, and institutional projects throughout Southern Maine. Mike enjoys a challenge, and has been particularly successful designing and securing approvals for complex projects with multiple regulatory agencies.

Mike has a degree in Engineering, Science and Mechanics from Virginia Tech and has served on the Cape Elizabeth Zoning Board of Appeals since 2014. On the weekends, he can be found enjoying the Maine outdoors with his family.

Adrienne is a Senior Project Engineer at Terradyn Consultants who works on all aspects of project development from design through construction. Adrienne’s technical expertise includes stormwater analysis and design, road design, subdivision development, and site design. Adrienne joined Terradyn in 2016 and works primarily out of the Portland office.
